Tuition Overview

Finances at the Blume & Hall Fashion Academy

The Vocational Fashion Study Program includes 600 hours of training, starting with an 8-week Basic Tailoring Course, followed by 14 additional 8-week courses and one elective. Here’s a breakdown of costs:

  • Non -Refundable Application Fee $100

  • Deposit: $500 Nonrefundable ( will be deducted from tuition)

  • Tuition: $19,130 (not including books)

  • Books: About $1,050

  • Total Cost: $20,280 (includes a nonrefundable $100 application fee)

  • Supplies : Estimated at $2,035

  • 14 Courses $1295.00 Each

Additional Costs (Out-of-Pocket):

  • Fabric: About $30 per project, plus $5 for notions, totaling around $1,350.

  • Equipment estimated at $685, including sewing machines and supplies.

Complete Estimated Price for the Program: $22,315

The program lasts 120 weeks, not counting holiday breaks. If a payment is missed, a $50 late fee will be charged. If there’s an outstanding balance at the end of a course, credit won’t be awarded until it’s cleared. No diploma will be given with an unpaid balance. Payments can be made via Credit Card, ACH, Apple Pay , cash, or check (payable to Blume & Hall Fashion Academy).

Students using loans should have the provider send payments directly to the school.

Grand total (Fashion Study Program, excl. tuition & books): $22,315

  • Private Tutoring: $85 per hour.

  • In-Class Tutoring $30 per hour after the initial 2 hours of free tutoring.

Students needing extra help must schedule tutoring in advance, with a minimum of 5 hours per session. These hours cannot be used to excuse unexcused absences.

For project help outside of class, students can email instructors for additional assistance. All requests must be approved before scheduling extra time.

Tutoring Services

Students can choose to pay for the entire program up front or make monthly payments. Loans are available through our partners Lumion with 24, 36, and 48 month plans that work for you.

Financial Options

  • The $100 registration fee is non-refundable.

  • The $500.00 Deposit is non-refundable.

  • Course books are non-refundable once the course starts.

  • If a student is absent for 30 consecutive days without notice, they will be withdrawn, and a refund will be calculated.

Refund Calculation:

  • Full Refund: If enrollment is canceled within 72 hours.

  • Refund After 1 Week, prorated based on attendance. No refunds after 50% of the course is completed.

  • Refund Dates: Refunds will be processed within 45 days of withdrawal or non-attendance.

Arkansas State Refund Policy:

  • If less than 25% of the course is completed, refunds will be prorated.

  • If 25% to 50% is completed, at least 50% of the tuition will be refunded.

  • If 50% to 75% is completed, at least 25% will be refunded.

  • If 75% or more is completed, no refund will be given.

If a student is not accepted, no payment is required.

  • Applicants of all ages are welcome. Students can enroll as early as 13 years old with parental consent. No prior fashion experience is required; our programs start with foundational courses in tailoring and design to ensure every student can succeed.

  • Applicants must provide proof of educational eligibility, which may include:

    • High school diploma or GED

    • Official high school transcript

    • Home-school certification or equivalent

    • Post-secondary transcripts if applicable

    If you are unable to provide these, alternative documentation may be considered on a case-by-case basis.

  • Applications can be submitted online or by phone. After submitting an application, prospective students are encouraged to schedule a campus tour to meet instructors, review the program, and discuss their goals. Applicants under 18 must have a parent or guardian present.

  • Yes. All applicants participate in a personal interview with a member of the admissions team. This allows us to understand your passion for fashion, assess your potential for success, and provide guidance on the best program path for you.

  • Blume & Hall Fashion Academy may accept transfer credits if courses align with our curriculum. Applicants must provide transcripts, syllabi, or course outlines. A skills assessment or test may be required to verify equivalency before credits are approved.

  • The full Fashion Study Program requires completion of the Basic Tailoring A-Vocational course as a prerequisite. Class sizes are limited to ensure personalized instruction, and students must meet minimum enrollment numbers for courses to be scheduled.
